Australia Once Was Fair

 

Australians once could all rejoice
When we were young and free;
We worked darn hard in our backyards
And fished the mighty seas.
Then came a government outrage
That wanted to be noted,
For taxing people, who dared breathe
Polluting  Earth with Carbon.
So sadly now we all must sing
Goodbye Australia Fair! 

This Labor Green co- government
Is  crooked thru and thru;
They close their ears to the electorate,
Basically said ‘go screw’.
They want the power and full control
Of every part  of life.
So forced upon the populace
The Carbon Dioxide Tax.
So sadly now we all must sing
No More Australia Fair!

They’re after money to be sure
And plan to police us all;
If we dare fight then be prepared
They’ll  put us in the stall’s.
They’ve changed the laws and governance
To suit the Green’s agenda,
We’ve got to kick them in the arse
To prove they are a farce.
Then maybe we can once more sing
Australia is Fair!

The people said ‘we’ve had enough’
‘Let’s dump these politicians’;
We need someone in government
Who listens to our pleadings.
Carbon dioxide grows our plants
and keeps the planet warm,
We don’t need Bob And Julia
It’s time to dump them both.
Perhaps then we shall shout aloud
Welcome Australia Fair!

We don’t want to be laughing stocks
Advance Australia Fair!
