A Huge Solar Storm is turning towards Earth right now. Know as Sunspot AR1339 – it has already shot off a HUGE flare, not at Earth this time but heading towards Mercury and Venus. Next time we might not be so fortunate if it is actually facing towards our planet.
The sun shot off a flare Thursday afternoonfrom a region that scientists are calling a “benevolent monster.”
Scientists at the federal Space Weather Prediction Center say that area is the most active part of the sun since 2005. It has dozens of sunspots, including one that is the size of 17 Earths. Sunspots are kinks or knots in the sun’s magnetic field.
“It’s beautiful,” said forecaster Jess Whittington. “It’s still growing. The size is what blows me away.”
Thursday’s flare was not aimed at Earth. This active region, however, is now slowly turning toward Earth, and scientists say it will be directly facing Earth in about five days.
That storm region will affect Earth only if it shoots off flares and they hit the planet, which does not always happen with stormy areas, said prediction center space scientist Joe Kunches.
The region will be facing Earth for about two weeks as it rotates, he said.
Solar flares send out bursts of electromagnetic energy that can occasionally disrupt communications and electrical systems.
For the past several years, the sun has been at a quiet end of its cycle and only recently has gotten more active. Solar cycles go in an 11-year period. This cycle has had fewer storms than usual for this time in its cycle. But that may be changing.
“The sun is looking more like we think it should at this point in the solar cycle,” Kunches said. “It’s got a number of active centers.”
Now it is well-known that if a huge CME were to be directed towards Earth, electrical power grids and satellites could be seriously fried – particularly were it to be a massive one. What seems less talked about is how such a flare could affect people with pacemakers (for example) and people like myself who seem particularly susceptible to changes in the electromagnetic frequencies.
I have yet to find a doctor who even understands what I am talking about, but when there is a large flare that affects the earth’s magnetosphere, I know – truly I do, because my body tells me. It causes me all sorts of problems health wise. I have heard other’s mention this affecting them also in different ways. It is not what is causing my illness, it simply exacerbates the situation. Seriously making it worse for a time.
This really should come as no surprise when you consider the electrical circuitry throughout the human body. Electrical impulses – synapses – circuitry is what powers us, cell talking to cell, neuron communicating with neuron. And yet doctors write you up as a hypochondriac when you mention the possibility that a solar flare might be causing your reactions.
Solar flares affect the Central Nervous System (stomach lining), all brain activity (including equilibrium), along with human behaviour and all psycho-physiological (mental-emotional-physical) response. Solar flares can cause us to be nervous, anxiousness, worrisome, jittery, dizzy, shaky, irritable, lethargic, exhausted, have short-term memory problems and heart palpitations, feel nauseous, queasy, and to have prolonged head pressure and headaches.
Anyway, this sunspot 1339 will be on the side of the sun facing towards earth for approximately two weeks. It is huge. It is active. It may well fire off some BIG M class and X class flare in our direction. Be prepared.
CHANCE OF FLARES: NOAA forecasters have upgraded the chance of X-class solar flares today to 20%. The source would be AR1339, one of the biggest sunspots in many years. The active region rotated over the sun’s eastern limb two days ago and now it is turning toward Earth. The flare created waves of ionization in Earth’s upper atmosphere, altering the normal propagation of radio waves over Europe and the Americas. In Ireland, the flare’s effect was felt even after dark.
A cloud of plasma or “CME” raced away from the blast site at 1100 km/s. The CME is not heading for Earth. It is, however, heading for Mercury and Venus.
A flare is a powerful release of energy that brightens the sun, and is often associated with an area of increased magnetic activity on the solar surface. This magnetic activity can also inhibit the flow of heat to the surface in a process called convection, creating darkened areas on the face of the sun called sunspots.
Almost no process in the human body takes place without electricity. Even when you are resting, the activities in your body—your heartbeat, the passage of oxygen into your lungs, and innumerable cellular activities—continue uninterrupted as a blessing from our Creator.
Your body is like a machine that requires regular maintenance every day and works through electricity. When you move a muscle, electrical discharges take place. The signals that carry commands from the brain through nerves are electrical, as are all the sensory signals that move from the body towards the brain. Cell division and heartbeat are electrical in nature. In fact, all chemical changes are based on electricity, through electrons being transferred, shared or altered at the molecular level. There are practically no non-electrical systems in the human body. Even when you lie down to rest, complex duties beyond your control continue to be performed regarding energy production: your heartbeat, the oxygen reaching your lungs, and more cellular activities than can ever be numbered.
In order to survive, in short, the human body employs electrochemical systems. That part of the body that depends on electricity the most is the nervous system. The body keeps producing electricity as long as it suffers no accident or physical disability, and by the electrical energy it produces, performs its activities day and night. The electrical systems in living things possess many more advantages than the electrical systems in mechanical devices. The most important of these advantages is biological systems’ ability to repair themselves. Should you cut your finger, for instance, the wound will heal itself within a short time. Again there is an electrical sequence behind the systems that permit this to happen. This feature does not exist in—nor can it be replicated by—any artificial machine.
