Has anyone posited the thought that BP (remember the Gulf Catastrophe?) might be a distant relative of Tokyo Electric, known as Tepco?
Maybe they are not blood relatives per se, but it certainly seems as if they have a similar modus operandi when it comes to getting the truth ‘out there’.
Stories abound regarding how much radiation is circulating in the vicinity of the nuclear reactors devastated by last weeks earthquake and tsunami. Are the rods exposed in reactor number 4 to the air? Has the containment chamber which houses these radioactive rods actually cracked, so that – no matter how much water they pump into it, to cool the rods, it just isn’t working. The water is escaping through the damaged walls.
Why are we being told everything is under control when clearly this does not seem to be the case. It stinks of a similarity to the BP Gulf Disaster to me. Tell them as little as possible, we do not want to alert the masses to the real danger.
According to Natural News There is an extremely dangerous plutonium-based fuel in one of the damaged reactors that may have already been, or eventually could be, released into the environment (http://www.naturalnews.com/031736_p… ), an allegedly empty cooling pool exposing thousands of highly volatile fueling rods to the open air (http://www.naturalnews.com/031734_n… ), and a US president telling everyone to chill out and do nothing other than watch television for further information (http://www.naturalnews.com/031735_O… ).
“Reading from the figures of monitoring, we have a feeling that things are getting a little better,” Hidehiko Nishiyama, a spokesman for the Japan Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, said in a meeting with reporters.
My question now is who are you going to believe?
A recent report explains that the Japanese government deceived and withheld pertinent information from the mayor of a city 12 miles downwind of the nuclear plant — the mayor literally had to take matters into his own hands and bravely urge an evacuation of his city just last night for the people’s own protection — and he did this in direct opposition to the official government position (http://www.naturalnews.com/031747_n… ).
Japanese health officials said Saturday that radiation levels in spinach and milk from farms near the tsunami-scarred Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant exceed government safety limits.
The Science and Technology Ministry said also that miniscule amounts of radioactive iodine have been detected in the tap water in Tokyo and the prefectures neighboring Fukushima in the first sign that contamination from the stricken nuclear complex had seeped into the food chain.
Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano, meanwhile, insisted the contaminated foods “pose no immediate health risk.”
NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT FOLKS HONESTLY!
“This is not at the level that would have any direct effect on your health,” Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano said at a news briefing in Tokyo yesterday. Eating the spinach for one year would be equivalent to 20 percent of the radiation exposure associated with a CT scan, he said.
from CT scans can cause cancer? ***
However: The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, calls the Japanese nuclear crisis “grave and serious”, and is urging Japanese government to release better information concerning its nuclear situation.
And you can be sure that if the situation gets worse for the US, the US government will likely take a similar position to that of the Japanese Government, and continue to insist that there is nothing to be concerned about. This is why individuals must think for themselves — rather than let the government think for them — and be prepared for whatever may come. Remember, preparedness has nothing to do with fear-mongering, and everything to do with simply being smart and staying informed about a situation. Taking practical steps to protect you and your family from potential threats is the only natural response to a situation of this magnitude.
